The Wine Authority, located in Richardson, TX, was started in 2017 by Kyle and Jazz Kepner. In the past few years, it has quickly become a go to spot for great wine at a great price.

Kyle brings over 20 years of Wine Industry experience to The Wine Authority and it isn't uncommon to find an aspiring sommelier working by his side.

He was lucky enough to start his career running one of the largest wine programs in the country, at III Forks Steakhouse in Dallas, TX all those years ago. From there he worked as a top performer in the fine wine division of one of the largest distributers in the world for several years. As his family grew, he wanted to start something of his own that his family could be involved in. With that, The Wine Authority was born!

Kyle enjoys all aspects of running TWA. From selecting new interesting wines weekly for his customers to enjoy, to giving private wine classes/tastings, to greeting his new and regular customers when they come in for a glass or retail.

In 2018 Kyle and Jazz decided to take TWA online provide the same great prices they offer in their store to a broader group of wine lovers. Now, with TWA-O people from all over can experience Kyle's great wine selections and his even better prices.
