Petit Rouge is the most widespread native Valle d'Aosta grape variety in the region and grown exclusively here.
For the Petit Rouge of Cave des Onze Communes the grapes come from the vineyards located on the orographic right of the Dora Baltea at heights ranging from six hundred and fifty to eight hundred meters: the harvest is differentiated to seize the best moment according to the different altitude and exposure.
Vinification takes place in steel at a controlled temperature: the process enhances and enhances the freshness, a tangible characteristic of this wine.
The delicate scent of dog rose is another peculiarity of this soft and velvety red, ideal for all regional specialties of the Aosta Valley cuisine.
