Winemaker Notes
Critical Acclaim
Juicy and forward, with enticing plum, boysenberry and plum compote flavors. Light licorice threads stitch up the finish, along with a flash of sweet spice. Drink now through 2027.
Softer and pleasantly vegetal on the nose, Turnbull’s entry-Cabernet is perennially one of the great value propositions in the Napa Valley. Its nose is floral and displays a bevy of dark fruit character with no overt new oak usage. Finishes crisp, satisfying and refreshing. It’s hard to ask for more at this price. Drinking Window 2024 - 2035
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color, offering gregarious notes of baked black plums, licorice, crème de cassis and mocha plus nuances of tar and cardamom. The medium to full-bodied palate is filled with a compelling purity of black fruit flavors and lovely freshness, textured by soft, plush tannins, finishing long with an exhilarating pepper and spice burst.
