Grape varieties:95% Grenache, 5% Syrah and Cinsault
Terroir: Organic grower. A single growing area (“Mont Bayon”) of 9 hectares is located at 440 metres in the Dentelles de Montmirail above the village. This cooler micro-climate brings extra freshness to this wine. A hot, dry poor soil of broken limestone brings a lovely tannic structure and minerality to the wine. A terroir and thus a wine that is completely different to the majority of the appellation (located on more fertile soils below the village).
