Dante Alighieri Rubino del Marchese Toscanal was created to embody the traditions and innovative spirit of Tuscany. The wine starts with ripe, coastal fruit. Only the finest Sangiovese and Canaiolo from family-owned vineyards are used to make this wine.
The blend of grapes is 75% Sangiovese and 25% Canaiolo coming from the hilly area in central Tuscany in the zones of Pisa, Siena and Florence. The vineyard exposure is south east/south-west on medium-high slopes, with medium clayey marl stony soil. Vinification is soft pressing and maceration for 8 days, with frequent pumping-over. The wine is temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for few months after the fermentation.
